Committees

The purpose of the committees is to assign captains and co-captains is to build a Ministers' Wives & Widows Ministry Team to represent the MDCMWA to past, present, and future Ministers' Wives and Widows. We also want to encourage and support them as an integral part of the Body of Christ and a part of the Midwestern District Council Ministers' Wives and Widows auxiliary. We want to remind past, present, and future Ministers' Wives & Widows that they are covered in prayer and that they are still a part of our department and that their voice matters.

Love In Action (Precious Pioneer Pearls)
Ministry Mission

To share the love of God and the hope of healing based on our Christian faith.

Ministry Objective

To demonstrate love for the Ministers’ Wives and Widows Pioneer and Shut-in by showing love and support to one

another.

Ministry Vision

The Midwestern District Ministers’ Wives and Widows Pioneer and Sick and Shut-in Committee would like to provide a personal touch and minister through calls, cards, prayer and transportation to services to ensure that members continue to feel apart of the Midwestern District Council Ministers’ Wives and Widows – even during seasons of illness or life changes that prevent them from worshipping with their church family.

Ministry Purpose

The Midwestern District Ministers’ Wives and Widows Pioneer and Sick and Shut-in Committee members will provide phone calls, cards, emails, and personal visits to the Ministers’ Wives and Widows Pioneers on a quarterly basis

  • 1st Quarter (Jan, Feb, March)

  • 2nd Quarter (April, May, June)

  • 3rd Quarter (July, Aug, Sept)

  • 4th Quarter (Oct, Nov, Dec)

When you visit the Pioneer or Sick and shut-in Minister’s Wife or Widow, you are representing the MDCMWA.   This committee’s purpose is to let the pioneer or sick minister’s wife or widow know that they are covered in prayer and they are still an intricate part of our department.  We want them to know that their voice matters.

Ministry Vision

The Midwestern District Ministers’ Wives and Widows Seasoned Sisers Mentoring Program would like to provide a personal touch by providing tailor-made guidance to Ministers' Wives in all capacities to which they serve to equip them to grow in grace.

Ministry Purpose

The members of the MDCMWA are very much aware that the role of a Minister or Pastor’s wife can be daunting.  We will endeavor to offer

mentorship to help new Ministers’ Wives better adapt to the complicated challenges of their role in their church and as wives.
